Project
Our “Research-into-Action” projects focus on ensuring better educational opportunities for all by expanding High Touch High Tech (HTHT) education’s reach in Korea, Asia, and globally.
HTHT University Consortium
The HTHT University Consortium is a membership organization that was founded in 2020 to introduce the HTHT approach to higher education. The consortium aims to address the crisis of traditional teaching models and propose a student-tailored education model through the use of advanced information and communication technology.
The consortium helps member institutions to improve learning outcomes for students while containing costs by capturing the enormous economies of scale inherent in technology. It also invites domestic and international Edtech companies as partners and develops adaptive learning technologies for underachieving students. The projects underway include the development of adaptive software for mathematics, English, Korean, and AI/VR for job training.
In the 1st year of implementation, the consortium currently involves 25 academic institutions that wish to improve learning outcomes for students through personalization. The consortium has developed manuals for using Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) in class, restructuring curriculum, and applying innovative pedagogical models.
Consortium Members
Since the launch of consortium on August 3rd, its members have increased to 25 educational institutions.
